The Rough Guide to Happiness,
This review is from: The Rough Guide to Happiness (Rough Guide Reference) (Paperback)
I am delighted with this book. I had read and enjoyed Nick Baylis' column in the Sunday Times (or was it the Saturday Times?) some years ago and know his style suits me. He is practical and unpatronising and I find it very helpful. I have had my fill of the many 'self help' books that mean well but go over and over the same ground and always made me feel that it will be touch and go if I ever emerge again as the happy person I once was. His clarity and optimism is infectious.
This book is clear, comprehensive and accessible. I recognise his explanations and it reassures me and makes me feel that my happiness is important and is again achievable. I would recommend this book to anyone who is unhappy or anyone close to someone who is unhappy. It sits in a class of its own.
