Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: PHILIPS SKY HD REMOTE WITH GLOBAL MAGIC EYE (Electronics)
had a bit of a fight with the magic eye but got there in the end.
# you also need a coax lead (normally male to male ends) i bought a 15 meters lead only because i live in a bungalow and my bedroom is next to the front room
(some coax leads come without ends so you have to connect the ends yourself.) look on you tube + coax lead 2 way splitter (optional) + coax aerial adapter (female to female
1= get the coax long lead n connect a coax aerial adaper to 1 of the ends of the long coax lead then put the female end in the back of the sky box (the RF1 or RF2 hole. if u have a old sky box)
2= go into the second room which you want your magic eye to go.....get the other end of the long coax lead and plug it into the magic eye then connect into the 2 way splitter along with your aerial from your tv.
3=tune your non-sky tv in to find other channels (mine was the AV channel).....now should be set up.
if your rooms are to far apart then u can drill a hole in the wall and put lead out on the outside. instead of running the lead all through the house. or just buy a longer coax lead and run it up the stairs.
