This review is from: Samba Pocket Reference: A Unix-to-Windows File & Print Server (Paperback)
The O'reilly pocket references are always a concise set of notes for the essentials and this is no exception. As with most pocket references they are not a teaching tool, but for someone with a base knowledge. This book has helped me get my head around a few problems.
The part I use most often are the config file options with explanations and list of commands and switches. It is easy enough to navigate and pretty well explained.
Book covers Samba 2.2 with some references to 3.0 so it is pretty outdated now, but still handy to have
