Five stars and rightly so.,
This review is from: Atlas: From the Streets to the Ring: A Son's Struggle to Become a Man (Paperback)
I have read many of boxings biographies, many of them very good, interesting insights into their childhood, later into gangs, drugs, failures, successes and titles.
This one has it all, it is well written, and has the stereotypical, father / Son angst, along with guns, gangs, Tyson / D,amato, title fights....the whole package.
Teddy also offers his views on life, and how to make a better person, which some may find, patronising, but hey are not mandatory, but interesting insights nonetheless.
I have only read one book better, and that was Johnny Tapia, which is one heck of a roller coaster ride.
However, i dont think you will be disappointed.
