This is a book which is very much in the 'spirit' of JM Barrie's Peter Pan; it doesn't simply echo the Disney version. It has that edge of danger which is in the original but not in the film. The illustrations are beautiful but the music and sounds really make it special. A lot of thought and consideration have been put into this book and it shows. I can't wait for the little ones to unwrap it...
