Entertaining, funny and enlightening,
This review is from: 13 Things That Don't Make Sense: The Most Intriguing Scientific Mysteries of Our Time (Paperback)I bought this for my brother, who loves all things scientific, especially anything astrological and he loved it - he alternated between speeding through it and saving it so he wouldn't finish it in one go, it was the perfect book for him. In fact, he loved it so much I read it too, and despite my lack of scientific knowledge, found it fascinating, accessible and really entertaining. I spent the next week enthusiastically telling people some of the snippets from the book - like how soap molecules work - as well as explaining some of the more complicated ideas, which were expressed so clearly I feel like I really understand them. I'd recommend this to absolutely anyone, whether they have a blind spot for science or really love it.
