This review is from: Scott King: Art Works (Paperback)
Peter Saville is a hero to many graphic designers of a certain age. His design work for Joy Division and New Order is highly influential and the subject of many a late night discussion. Is it graphic design or is it art? But who has there been since Saville that has made equally as good work and also been the subject of similar discussions?
There is Scott King!
This book documents King's work from Hull College at the start of the nineties to
the present date via ID magazine; Crash; Sleazenation; Suicide; Pet Shop Boys;
Earl Brutus. I am no art or design critic, but all I can really say is that this book is a worthwhile purchase. The work in it is thought provoking; clever and at times very amusing.
