This is a great book for learning about nutrition. I was initially terrified by what I didn't know about feeding myself. As far as I can tell it covers everything most people will need to know plus a little extra. I was especially impressed that it caters for vegetarians.
Since reading the book cover to cover and getting to grips with all the information I've been able to completely change my eating habits and now, four weeks in, I'm starting to see changes to my health, body and sporting performance.
Over the years I've spent (wasted?) hundreds of pounds on equipment and gym memberships, I wish I'd bought this book right at the beginning. In my opinion everyone should read this as a first step to improving fitness.
