Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Ugg Australia Women's Classic Tall Flat (Shoes)
I bought these for my girlfriend, she has wanted some ugg boots for a long time, and they had to be genuine uggs.
The first pair arrived and she put her foot in to the boot and we heard a big ripping noise, the seam at the back of the boot had ripped wide open! We sent the boots back and got a second pair, this time they didnt rip but the fluff from the inside of the boot came out in big chunks and the boot died her leggings black.
I confirmed with ugg australia that these are genuine uggs then sent them back again for a refund, she no longer wants ugg boots.
Do some research, these boots are made in China and the sheepskin is not from australian sheep either. They are not waterproof and they are very poor quality, I dont know why they charge so much for them or why people buy them.
Recently I took my shoes to a cobbler to be resoled and noticed two pairs of Ugg boots on the shelf, I asked if they get a lot of them in and the cobbler told me more than any other shoe, they constantly need stitching back together.
I would avoid these.

I am looking for myself a new pair of uggs and love and regularly use amazon. Stumbled across these....I'm alarmed! I want chestnut tall classic uggs size 5.5 but looking at this image these are clearly counterfeit. I don't want to point out the mistakes on here as the counterfeiters may benefit but if you compare the images here to the official ugg we page, and check out the tips to spotting counterfeits they have on their page you will see the errors I'm sure. Outraged they have the cheek to come on amazon, defraud consumers and charge full and near enough full price! It could be they're only the images are fake, some colours are fake... I have no idea the truth but.... Be careful, be aware, do checks! If you have purchased and worried, check the ugg website out, do the checks and contact amazon customer services.

Like I said in the review, I confirmed that the Ugg boots I got were genuine with Ugg Australia.
They also said this can happen and said I could send them back to them (at my own expense) to confirm if there is a fault with the boot, at which stage they send me a letter to confirm so I can get a refund.
Amazon replaced then refunded the boots.
