5.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad writer, 2 July 2011

This review is from: The Iliad (Kindle Edition)
I don't know who this Homer bloke is, but he's not bad at writing things. I think he must have been practicing quite a lot before he made this book. It's a bit long, and he could have thought up some easier names for his characters. I think Roger's always a good one for the main person in a story.

However, not to be mean or anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he borrowed the idea for this book from soemweher else. I saw this film with Brad Pitt in it last year called Troy, and it was a bit similar. Do you think this Homer got the idea from the film? It's still a good book though, even if he did.

I've decided to review reviewers.
I give you three and a half stars for the sum of all your reviews which I have just read, willie-I can call you willie, can't I? I particularly liked the fact that you are happy to divulge your list of books, including the Japanese and vintage porn which so disappointed you.I would have given you more stars had you not banged on so much about your teacher (although the idea was good) But keep on keeping on, it is good when people inject humour into the reviews and I did enjoy them!
