run of the mill,
This review is from: Bleed For Me (Hardcover)
i've read all of the books in this series and this is definitely the worse. The pace is slow, without the benefit of full rounded characters or interesting narrative to grip. I found the relationship between Joe and his wife and one of the female teachers faintly annoying and irrelevant, frankly. I didn't believe in any of the villains and actually found i didn't even sympathise much with the victims. Slow paced, uninteresting characters and slightly cloying relationships. Not his best - just about worth the time reading it. I also find when he refers to his Parkinsons disease as "Mr Parkinson" faintly irritating and patronising. It just seems a distraction.
