Stop removing features!,
This review is from: Madden NFL 13 (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
The physics and gameplay on this game are much improved from Madden 12, so good work EA there.
However, the new "Connected Careers" mode has taken over Superstar and Franchise modes from past years. As a result, gone is the behind-player camera angle I used to love for playing defensive superstar games. Gone from franchise is the fantasy draft option, edit players option (leads to improper numbering of players in future years) and several others. Your options and sliders are not remembered when you start a new game.
EA has FINALLY decided to improve gameplay, but totally undermined those gains by ruining franchise and superstar modes by forcing them into connected careers, removing key features in the process. Connected careers itself is a cool idea but making it the only gamemode is a mistake and the execution doesn't live up to the promise of the idea.
A real shame.
