This review is from: Purdy Monarch Elite and Pro-Extra Monarch Paint Brush Set - 5 Brushes (Misc.)In all my years of decorating, I must have hand dozens of paint brushes of various types. I've tried cheap ones that I used once and then threw away but time after time, I've come back to buying better quality brushes, why?
The answer is simple - good brushes are easier to use and give a better finish. Cheap brushes hold little paint, leave streaks, are useless for cutting in, drop hairs and do not keep their shape after cleaning.
Google "best brushes for painting"and you will come up with two names, Purdy and Wooster - both American companies. Purdy brushes are hand made by craftsmen and women. Newcomers have to serve a two year apprenticeship before they are allowed to assemble brushes for the public. They use only the finest materials, plain hardwood handles, stainless ferrules and a blend of man made fibres chosen to hold paint well, provide a good flag and the correct degree of spring.
With these brushes, even a novice decorator will get a decent finish with little effort as long as he or she follows simple guidelines.
One last tip: having chosen the best brushes you can buy, you will want to look after them so treat yourself to a Purdy brush comb (also available from Transtools.

Awww Bless :) That was so not a real review made by a buyer but still very informative all the same. My father swears by Purdy brushes and will never use anything else so I know you are talking sense but please lol, your review is just not what any real purchaser would ever say so think about that before you write your next review for your products ;)
