Good, but not as good as the sausage book (for me),
This review is from: Grow the Core: How to Focus on Your Core Business for Brand Success (Hardcover)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I'm probably not the intended audience for this book. I loved the authors previous book about the sausage company which made the point that sizzle doesn't matter if your sausage tastes horrible. Loved that book. It was written for a wide audience. This book is intended more for people who work in branding and marketing, which I don't. That said, this was an enjoyable book, well written, usually easy enough to follow. I enjoyed the section on Virgin in particular. Some other parts of the book were just a few steps beyond my comprehension, but that's me not the book.

Grow the Core is definitely different from Where's the Sausage?, so I'm sorry if you were expecting another book like that when you bought Grow the Core. A good clue is that WTS? type books tend to cost under £10 and are soft back... whereas more serious, practical books like GTC are hard back and cost c.£20.
