"There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men." Matthew 28:2-4.
I'm planning on reading the book again soon, having first read it a few years ago. I found the book very helpful in reconciling some differences in the gospel accounts, which I believe was the author's main purpose. After all, if all four accounts were exactly the same they'd be charged with plagiarism. I wonder if I'll experience the book the way I did when I first read it, or if my experience will be similar to yours.
