Hard work at times & wrong title for book,
This review is from: The Secret Rooms: A True Gothic Mystery (Hardcover)

The title 'The Secret Rooms' gave one the feeling it was going to be a really good read. Sadly it fell far short of that. It did show what influence the privileged had and possibly still do in manipulation at the highest level of society. I found it intriguing to start with then sadly it went downhill. The book is filled with letters to and from so many people in the end they were meaningless when read. I do not think there was anything secret about any rooms it was simply a mother and son in conflict over what he wants to do and the hiding of the truth in what really happened. Its like a good Agatha Christie mystery but this is fact. At times it was like trying to walk through mud. The correct title would have been, 'The Secret Letters'.
