This review is from: Mr S: The Last Word on Frank Sinatra (Paperback)
I liked the beginning of the book - it led to the start of the story of George's service for Frank Sinatra. He seemed to like and admire his ex-employer and the lifestyle he was privileged to while he worked for him.
Half way through it began turning a little sour as he focused on the unsavoury relationships Sinatra established and began to dwell on Sinatra's dark side.
In the end I was not sure whether George liked Frank or not. Parts of the book seemed to be factual and others possibly invented or at least embellished.
However, it was a rollicking good read and flowed well. I found it hard to put down.
