favourite translation, but many errors in this edition.,
This review is from: The Corpus Hermeticum (Paperback)
After reading various translations, I still rate Mead's as the best for the way it is put forward. I have my own version in which I removed the guide notes to make a smoother read, but I bought this as it was cheap. However, I must warn that there are numerous typing errors in this version, minor as they are, and that Mead's translation is public domain and can be found online and printed legally and for free, even cleaning it up a bit as I did if you so wish.
I don't recommend this version for the above reasons, but if you really want it in the form of a cheap book then it is acceptable and the mistakes aren't really enough to detract from what is written.
