This review is from: Swarovski New compact Binoculars CL Pocket 10x25 B color green, CLP10x25g (Electronics)
For reference, I have used more than ten different sets of binoculars and also own a set of Canon 10x42 IS L and a set of Nikon Sportstar 10x25. These Swarovski 10x25 are quite simply amazing. If you have never looked through top quality glass then you may well not realise the difference. My Canon set cost more than twice as much and optically these are easily as good. The Canon’s have IS though and that feature is a real game changer.
Build / Construction
Solid build and feel excellent. The eye cups are rolled and do not fall back in when in use. Very comfortable to hold and use. Hinge and focus are smooth and they come with a small strap and padded case. I have the green ones and they look great. Lifetime warranty.
Amazing. They make good binoculars look bad. Crisp, clear and bright. The contrast is amazing on these and I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed in any way. There are binoculars that you can buy for far less that give you 90% of the performance, but these really are premium in every way.
Price / Value
The best things cost the most money. They are up there with Zeiss and still cheaper than Leica. You do have to want them though as I say you could buy the premium version of the Nikon’s and get something very close for less money. These give you a nice pleasant feeling to own though!
If you want a top quality set of compact binoculars then I would highly recommend these. They are pricey (check around on price) but well worth it. There really are few if any negatives to them.
