5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant surprise, 5 Jan. 2013
This review is from: Thinblade: An Epic Fantasy Adventure Series (Sovereign of the Seven Isles Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
This book was recommended to me by a friend and to be honest I did not hold out much hope. However by the time I was halfway through I had bought the rest of the series. Nice easy reading with a great story and interesting characters. Anybody with a love of fantasy books should give it a go and let's face it at the price you can get it for you'd be mad not to. Must go as book 2 is waiting

Dear Mr Vinning,

Sorry to bother you like this! I have noticed in your reviews you have read a number of 'indie' books, and was wondering if you would like to try my book out? I would be happy to provide you with a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

It is a science fiction/fantasy, action-adventure novel set in a post apocalyptic world. Here is the blurb:

It is four thousand years since the Spore returned to feed on the living. Now, beneath the shadow of the ancient Harbingers, man has been forced to live most of their lives underground. . . but not all. On a small island is Etinox, a city beneath the watchful eyes of the Techpriests of the Tower.

Iaya, a young resident of Etinox, decides to risk the dangers of the Moon Wood to save her terminally ill mother. She has been told all her life that God lives in the mountains outside the wood. Iaya learns that God is something else entirely.

She is given a message that forever changes her life.

Find Ark.

Meanwhile, upon the Dead Continent, war is coming. The Harbingers fight for the possession of Ark. It is their birthright, and only one can win it as a prize.

Please let me know if you're interested in reading it, and I'll provide you more details (such as the link to my book)

Thank you for your time, and I apologize for this approach (and my apologies to Mr Wells for intruding upon his reviews).

Mark Dunstan
