1.0 out of 5 stars Love this - hate the price...what a rip off..., 22 July 2013
By
This review is from: Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Conditioning Curl/Style Milk 236 ml (Personal Care)
A friend of mine's father went to Flori-duh and brought back some SM products that I've been using on my son for a while. I do absolutely love this but was looking online for a top up....and found this..at this price..vendor, are you serious? Curly Emporium [...] sell this at a fraction of the cost, this is absolutely the biggest rip off I've ever encountered, this retails for $10 in the US.
Sorry for the 1* review of a 5* product but no-one should enter into this vendors greed without being pre-warned.
This is a brilliant product, it doesn't leave residue, I mix it with pure 100% aloe vera gel and my sons hair stays looking good all day. Really, really recommend it at another price.

I, like you, love this product also which I picked up whilst in Miami. I totally agree, the price they are selling the Shea Moisture and As I Am products for is absolutely ridiculous and pure greed!

I am starting to see Shea Moisture products in the shops now also (well a shop so far :-)). Same price as on the Curly Emporium but less the postage and packaging. They have a fairly good selection of the Shea Moisture line but had run out of some as no doubt they are pretty popular. Beauty Queens Cosmetics on Turnpike Lane.

You can get this at Pak Cosmetics as well (www.pakcosmetics.com/brand/shea-moisture/shea-moisture). They have a store near Finsbury Park station on Stroud Green Road.

That's ok. It's worth asking your local shop if they can stock it, I live in the back of beyond and I've managed to get one of the three afro shops to stock it. It's a $10 dollar product, even selling at £13 there's a profit in it for the seller.
