This review is from: The Complete Photographer's Guide to Lightroom 5 (Kindle Edition)
I bought this guide as a new user of Lightroom. Although it certainly contains a lot of useful information, for me this was presented in a very idiosyncratic way and was not easy to navigate - that might have been the fault of the ebook format but did mean that it was very difficult to find how to do a specific task. By focussing on the specific areas within Lightroom the integrated workflow which is supposed to be the major benefit of the program was relegated to a very poor second place. This was reinforced by the fact that this book is clearly merely a compilation of the author's individual volumes on each of these areas of Lightroom. As a consequence there was a lot of repetition, often verbatim, which was unnecessary and annoying, there is really no excuse for not having had some proper editing whe the individual volumes were brought together.
