This review is from: Never Go Back (Jack Reacher, Book 18) (Kindle Edition)
Ending was lame. Plot was a bit thin. Too little Reacher logic and a lot of aimless action. The Baldacci reference was writers arrogance. Lee Child's needs to remember it is his readers that make him famous.

Robert Sum says:
It is disturbing to read an action hero resorting to physical measures more extreme
than real-life Gitmo in his quest in righting wrongs- i.e. the incident on the airplane. Seems Reacher is becoming less the brave crusader for justice and more the over-zealous citizen law enforcer (and likewise for his cohorts).
Sadly, his ultra violent methods to deter wrongdoers has me saying to myself "this can't be OK" as I read. I am beginning to be repulsed by Reacher's controlled rage and can't help thinking his lonely existence has contributed to a blunting of basic human decency.
Maybe time for LC to "retire" his hero before he commits a serious offence he cannot plausibly deny.
