Best I've come across,
This review is from: The Gluten-free Baker (Hardcover)
Despite having bought books from Amazon for many years this is my first review. I've just cooked yet another batch of the cheese and poppyseed scones from The Gluten-free Baker and, being reminded how delicious they are, wanted to thank the author and publisher of this book for creating a collection of consistently good recipes. I have many cookery books, and often only use one or two recipes from each book, but this is a book I come back to again and again, and each time I try something new have another great-tasting dish to add to my gluten-free repertoire. To the reviewer who has yet to try the scones - go for it! The butternut squash ones are like nectar, the blackberry and pear divine, and the cheese and poppyseed utterly moorish. It's so great to have a reliable source of workable wheat-free recipes - and they are all recipes you could happily give your wheat-eating friends without feeling you're short-changing them.
So, Hannah, a thousand thank-yous, and looking forward to your next gluten-free book! Home-made pasta, maybe? Rosemary and walnut bread? Wholemeal anything? Can't wait!
