Maybe I just have bad luck...,
This review is from: Gioteck EX05 Wired Multi Format Headset (PS3/Xbox 360/PC) (Video Game)
The first pair of these I bought were the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. However, they had the problem where when the microphone was recording (i.e on Skype or PS3) I was subjected to a really annoying buzzing sound constantly in my ear. Again, this was occurring both on PS3 and on my laptop, a problem that I have not had with any other headphones. I'm not an idiot when it comes to computers and I know how to fix most problems, but none of the solutions I could think of helped, nor did any of those revealed from hours of Googling.
Having returned them, I decided to buy another pair because I really do love the aesthetics of these headphones. Unfortunately, this pair has the exact same problem. Unless someone can point me in the direction of a solution, I will have to give this product a one star review.

Well mine broke, when going to place them on my head the bit that holds the actual headphone to the strap (part with the 2 screws just above the headphone) popped out, thought i was just unlucky the first time and i had had the first pair for almost a year so i got a 2nd pair as i found them pretty comfortable, same thing happened, this buzzing noise you mention i had a similar sound when the volume control/mic control box down the wire got nearer to my wi-fi connector, so that might be what caused your buzzing?
