A Review in 2010,
This review is from: Global Underground 13: Sasha In Ibiza (Audio CD)
I used to own this when it first came out 13 years ago and at that time I thought it was great. But eventually I got bored of it so sold it. 2010 - I bought it again because I wanted to hear it after all of those years.
It's not so good now, probably more to the fact that most of the tracks sound dated. Sasha's mixing is superb and Sasha's 'Xpander' track still sounds as good now as it always has. Having said that, Sasha and Digweed's Northern Exposure series still sound as good now as they did then (to me) so it's not really the tracks being dated, more the choice of tracks on this are not as timeless.
If you want early Sasha and you don't own either the first Renaissance Mix Collection or any of the Northern Exposure series, then buy them first. If you don't own them - why not? ;-) This on the other hand, yes it's OK, but nothing special.
