Seems even more creepy on a second reading,
This review is from: Wicked! (Paperback)
I was recently laid up with swine flu and was desperate for something to read, so ended up re-reading Wicked.
Some of the usual Jilly Cooper ]good stuff was in place, including the groan out loud puns and some well drawn and well loved characters from previous novels.
However, the book is overly long and very poorly edited, with a ridiculous late in the day paedophile ring sub plot. But what really got me coming over with a touch of the Mary Whitehouses for the first time ever is the graphic sex scenes between 13 and 14 year olds and adults. Just plain wrong and ruins what would otherwise be a pretty good read, dodgy plotting notwithstanding,
