Short, old and American but interesting,
This review is from: How to Cast Small Metal and Rubber Parts (Paperback)The book is almost entirely about sand-casting aluminium alloys and bronzes, making simple foundry equipment (a short section) and casting a polyurethane rubber called Devcon Flexane into plaster moulds. (The book does point out that plaster moulds could be used for metal too.) The book is American, so all the measurements are in inches or degrees Fahrenheit. The 2nd edition seems to be from 1986, so the list of suppliers are probably mostly out of date; all except 1 is in North American; (the one that isn't changed its name in 1995).
I'm only a beginner myself so I can't say whether the techniques are out of date, but it's an interesting read and easy to understand.
