1.0 out of 5 stars Release the holy grail of ABBA songs, not this same old, same old, 25 April 2014
This review is from: Abba Gold Anniversary Edition (Audio CD)
True fans what the official full length version of JUST LIKE THAT finally released. That is the only GOLD worth having by ABBA. We all have the songs on this collection already (100 times).

Agnetha has said that JUST LIKE THAT was properly finished in 1982 and is one of her favourite songs. She would like it released too. Benny and Bjorn disagree and tell fans 'Just Like That' was never finished, so fans should be glad for the portion released in 1994 on the 'Thank you for the Music' boxset.

Bootleg versions of 'Just like that' indicate that full versions do exist in different formats. We shouldn't hold our breath though, as Benny and Bjorn refuse to give the fans what they really want.

J. Hughes says:
William - We are never going to get a full version of ABBA's 'Just Like That'. This is because Benny & Bjorn
do not feel that any of the versions recorded by ABBA are much good. In fact, as recently as September
Benny told a Dutch Journalist that he & Bjorn are never letting us have a completed ABBA version. He
said that he feels that the Swedish duo Gemini recorded the best version for their 1985 'Gemini' Album,
& ABBA Fans can listen to that version. (Even though their version is too slow & extremely dull). While
he was talking to the Dutch Journalist he also said that ABBA have 'very little' left that is unreleased.
That what they do have they 'don't want to share' with the Fans. So, as Universal still want to make
cash from ABBA, it looks like all Fans have to look forward to are still more ABBA 'Hits' Albums, with
the 'S.O.S', (Same Old Songs), for many Years to come. Unlike Queen, Led Zeppelin etc., ABBA do
not believe in doing things to reward their Fans. They feel that they do not owe us anything. A lot
of their Fans agree with them. They say they are 'happy' that Benny & Bjorn feel as they do about
unreleased ABBA Tracks. (Yet, I find it amusing when those same Fans moan & groan every time
another ABBA 'Hits' Album is released, with nothing fresh on it!).
