Brain Friendly Selling,

I am biased, Simon's first book, Bare Knuckle Selling had a great impact on me. And over the years I have read every book he has published and have got to know him on a more personal level as well. I had a pre published electronic copy of the book to review and my comments are based on that. But let me start with just because I have a bias doesn't mean that you can't make your own informed decision based on this and other reviews.
Neuro-Sell is an excellent read and a must have for anyone that is interested in sales. What I love about this book is that Simon takes lots of leading edge science and shows you how to use it in a sales environment. If you are an experienced sales professional there are ideas in this book that you will not have seen before that is backed up with hard science. There may well be material you have met before but the difference now is that you will have a better understanding of why is works and as a result how you can use it.
If you are a novice in the world of sales this book will give you tools, ideas and techniques that will rocket your sales career. And it is all backed up with proper scientific research.
This book fits a real gap in the sales book market. There are many books that are written by no doubt very successful sales people that are idiosyncratic and offer you lots of "what to do" type advice with not really understanding of why it works. There are lots of books on the theory of how people act and react from a hard scientific perspective that lack the practical "how do I use this" information. Neuro-Sell not only shows you what works but also how to use the information in practical situations.
