Good Food Guide,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This book contains some 60 recipes from various restaurants and some great chefs, each one being profiled. The Good Food Guide covers England, Scotland, Wales and Jersey but sadly none from Northern Ireland.
I feel that around 28 of the recipes are within the realms of the home cook although some will be time consuming. I have deliberatly excluded those with foie gras (too cruel) and truffle (too expensive).I particularly liked Rowley Leigh's parmesan custards and Shaun Hill's buttermilk pudding with figs. Others I thought approachable were Marcus Wareing, Mark Hix and Tom Kitchin.
An excellent guide if you dine out often, especially in London and the south of England, but with few recipes for the home cook, who at home would do Heston's Nitro poached green tea and lime mousse?
