This review is from: Clapham Lights (Paperback)
As an East Anglian that moved to London in 2008 and now lives in Clapham, I thought this book would be right up my alley. And I wasn't wrong.
Clapham Lights is a very funny and accessible read that I ripped through in a few days. Some of the smaller details about being a young, urban male getting a foothold in London are very evocative and can only have been written by someone who has lived the experience.
The novel reminded me of the reckless younger brother of John Lanchester's excellent 'Capital'.
