This review is from: Mosquito: The Original Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (Hardcover)
I purchased this book for my Uncle's 90th birthday. In WW2 he was stationed in Cornwall with the RAF to repair Mosquitos. He was a master carpenter and was reserved to this occupation which was actually a lot safer than his original application to be a rear gunner. The book is very comprehensive in that it covers the history of the Mosquito from concept to the production of a very versatile aircraft. It provides a lot of detailed information without becoming bogged down in "boffin speak". My Uncle was very impressed by the book which brought back many memories to him, particularly as he knew so many of the people that were referred to in the book. This is a very specialist book that will only be interesting to a small band of enthusiasts, but those enthusiasts will find this book to be an excellent and informed account of the history of the Mosquito.

My father-in-law was also stationed in Cornwall with the RAF, working on/repairing the nightfighter Mosquitos. His name is Kenneth Pink.
