This review is from: The Protocol (Kindle Edition)
A frightening glimpse into the near future of healthcare in America - and possibly elsewhere.
Eat is a nice change from the usual hard man ex Special Forces character one usually sees in this type of book. His quirks are introduced but not pushed too hard so they work well.
The central premise of a dollar amount being assigned to people and if they cost too much in healthcare then kill em is good. I had a few problems with the way this was introduced. It's glossed over a little as to how such a huge thing is made legal but that's just the general setup to get to the rest of the story.
The characters are well written and the pace is fast enough to keep you interested.
I got this book free in return for a review but I have already added the author onto my amazon list and will gladly pay for the next in the series.
