Twenty years too long!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Kingmaker's Daughter (Cousins War 4) (Hardcover)
Twenty years of unending, boringly repetitive self pity.
With continuous references to witchcraft.
Having read 'the White Queen'which was excellent this novel paled into insignificance.
The delivery of Isabella aboard ship was identical to the previous description.
Anne's escape from L'erber was far too easy, so much more interesting for the reader, when she was below stairs for a few months!
On the positive side Richard was the most interesting character, and his love for Anne shone through.
I am thankful this is the last of the 'Cousins' series.

A. Lerner says:
Its not actually the last in the Cousins series - The White Princess and then The Last Rose - they are not as good as The Tudor series. Getting a little tired of her writing now.
