What am I missing?,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Lego Super Heroes Hulk (Minifigure) (Toy)
Bought this Hulk (minifigure ) for my grandson. I didn't know how small a minifigure was . I can't understand how this little figure can cost almost £28 - is there something I am missing ?
I returned it for a refund.

its all about supply and demand! this is a 'rare' one and some figures are only available as part of a big (expensive) set - in this case that might have proved better value. An 'online marketplace' is probably the best place to source - or at least compare - such items. I got this model that way very recently but it still cost me £13.99.
PS The clue to size is the 'number of parts'. For this model it states only 4. I hope that helps as if your grandson is into lego you could find yourself being asked for a lot more over the years!

I think these Lego mini figures are disgustingly priced, i've wanted the iron man mini figure for a while but i cannot justify spending £15-20 on a tiny lego figure! The should just sell them all separately and have the larger sets as exclusive vehicles and set pieces not the actual mini figures themselves.

I know, I've been buying these minifigures for years for my son. I must have spent hundreds of pounds on them - it's ridiculous, really. I agree that Lego should release the minifigures individually. It's the collectors driving up the price not the kids who just want to play with them. The consolation though is that you can sell them later on when they grow out of it and get most of your money back. PS. By the way, they do release them individually as key chains - only for the fans to try and take the key chain bits out of them, leaving an unsightly hole on top. Why can't they just release them as regular minifigures???
