This review is from: Gabriel's Rapture: 2 (Gabriel 2) (Paperback)
Both books -Gabriel's Inferno and Gabriel's Rapture- were very well written and impressively well-researched. The first book was a bit slow, but at Gabriel's Rapture the author picked up the pace. Beautiful descriptions of lansdscapes, locations and emotions. Few touches of great humour here and there, even though Inferno had many more. I remember laughing A LOT with few scenes from the first book. Actually, this book made me buy Dante's Divine Comedy, which I am now reading. On the downside, no author of similar or semi-similar books has ever deviated from the usual routine: Older filthy rich man with a past, clumsy, naive young girl and few twists in between...who overpass their problems and live their happily ever after. That's ok. We need these romantic stories this day and age when everything is wham-bam...
