A good story needs a good writer!,
This review is from: Millennial Hospitality (Paperback)
The story is probably a good and possibly even a true one, but what a pity the writer doesn't have a clue how to write a book. It's almost all dialogue, slow, endless, repetitious, and full of ego-praise, while he fails to explain many things that are not obvious to people outside the army.
Although normally I'm a patient reader I struggled through the first 100 pages and put the book away. Only because a friend recommended it did I come that far. This probably worthwhile story could have been much, much shorter. Where was that editor Mr. Hall so badly needed?
