This review is from: Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox 360) (Video Game)
So I pre-ordered this game and paid extra for 'Guaranteed One Day Delivery'. The item was dispatched the day before release but the game is a no show today.
I have since received a refund for the extra delivery costs (after complaining) but this doesn't change the fact that their 'guaranteed' service is bogus. I will not be using Amazon for pre-orders ever again.
THE GAME ITSELF DESERVES 5 STARS BUT AMAZON'S SERVICE DESERVES 1. I have been playing the game with a friend since I realised that my game wasn't going to arrive. The game is awesome, though will look and play far better when released on PC.

This is not a review of the game.....! Why would you rate as 1 star just because you're upset with Amazin's delivery service??

Mr. James R. Williams says:
Don't review the damn game if you're going to review Amazons delivery process then. You yourself say it deserves 5 stars, so give it 5 stars then. This is a place to review the product, not review the service.
Either remove your review or edit it properly.

You have completely misused the review section available to customers of Amazon to preach your drivel to people who are considering buying this product. A very common occurrence that frustrates me to no end and helps absolutely nobody! PLEASE try and understand that customers use these reviews to decide if the PRODUCT is worth buying. THE PRODUCT. You give it one star because you didn't receive it in time and totally put people off buying a product that is actually very good.

I think the majority of people see through it Stu. It may put off the passing customer who is easily swayed.

The people who see through it are the ones who click on the one star reviews or read all the reviews in detail. The ones who go on the page and see 4 star as opposed to 5 star or the ones who see there are 17 one star reviews will be put off and think there's something wrong with the game.

I do wish Amazon employed people to remove service reviews, or that a seriously downmarked review was enough to auto-remove it.

This is not a review of the item. No one cares about your delivery issues - remove this review.
