This review is from: Unofficial Guide to Disneyland Paris (Unofficial Guides) (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
In a world of multimedia a black and white guide book (with a few photos tucked at the front 1980's style) seems very dated and devoid of stimulation. Especially considering that people will be purchasing this before a dream break/holiday to Disneyland Paris.
Under the plain veneer this Unofficial Guide is packed full of honesty and presents the data in a very useful manner. Early chapters cater for those still planning, with useful phone numbers, as well as guides on time management in terms of time of year and length of stay. After detail on Disney's hotels, amenities and travel planning the final fifth concerns the rides. The authors cleverly rate each ride for various age groups from pre-school to senior, ideal for families (most of the visitors I assume), as well as detailing how scary it is and what time of day to frequent it. As with the whole book, description are honest and offer just the right amount of insight.
Not too lengthy, although larger than most travel books, the authors seem to have the right balance. It's just a shame it lacks any visual treats amidst the content.
