A little gem,
This review is from: Fujifilm FinePix Z35 Digital Camera - Purple (10MP, 3x Optical Zoom) 2.5 inch LCD (Electronics)
First saw this camera in Currys and couldn't put it down, I have a fujifilm E550, also bought off Amazon almost 5yrs ago, all the controls are the same which made navigating around this camera quite easy for me. Reason for buying it?..............This was bought for my wife, I have been looking out for a nice little digital camera for her to keep in her handbag one that is not too big yet has the ability to produce photo's to the quality of what we are used to from our E550 and after the play around in Currys I was hooked. The deep colour on here is nothing like the colour purple you get (which I knew) the camera is smaller than some mobile phones out there, coupled with a 8GB memory card it holds approx. 2990 photos at 10M setting and around the 5500 at the 5M setting, 7570 at the 3M setting, 38 mins video at 640 and 65 mins at 320 setting, the screen is a good size and the flash gives good bright photo's all in all a good little camera of which I hope will serve the purpose for what I bought it for, my wife likes it which is the most important point and it's not a usual silver or black colour, it can be found in various colours and these seem to give it an idividual touch. I hope it proves to be as good a buy as the E550 has been and that my wife can now catch little moments with our young daughter when out and about in this wonderful British climate!

I would advise anyone thinking of buying this colour to visit Curry's etc and check out the colour as it is a different shade of purple of which is shown on amazon, the camera was on show at my local store as I would think would be the same as most, if not just ask to see one I'm sure they will be happy to show it out of the box

hi, close up photo's I have taken are good and there is a macro setting for very close up shots too which gives a good result also.
Hope this helps and is not too late, again if amazon flagged up when we signed in that we have a comment on one of our reviews it would be a better service for those asking a question.

Hi, The photo's are quite good from this little camera, the zoom in and out are good, has a marco setting too which I have had good results but compared them with my E550 I would opt to use the E550 for a slightly better quality Pic, and I think (I could be wrong) that it could be the lens that makes the difference, the E550 having a bigger lens hence capturing more light, I would recommend you go around some of your local shops and try out if possible, if it is a hobby it would be best to try a few different makes/models and maybe pay just that little bit more. But having said that, this little camera has and still does serve the purpose I bought it for, my wife loves it and it is compact so she takes it with her when out and about and takes some nice photos.
