Witty, entertaining and so cleverly written,
This review is from: Mennonite in a Little Black Dress: A Memoir of Going Home (Paperback)
I developed a fascination about the Mennonite religion after reading this book. I have to echo everything that has been said about it from the blurb to the other reviews. The author has a wonderful voice and how she can remain so upbeat and cheerful is a testement to the stability and solidness of her upbringing.
I loved this book, and I want to meet her mother! She sounds like such a warm, loving and just plain kooky character.
