The sound track to my late teens. Friday nights with my 6th form mates in the Harrington Bar in Liverpool. I had my first kiss (the frog died unfortunarely). Every track on this album was danced to and was / is a winner ( except the last one - the Steps is pants). Pop perfection . If you only know Fade to Grey then that's because the DJs on popular radio at the time were scared of people who didn't sound like the Dooleys.
And now some of these same DJs are being well and truly hung by them! They should keep it all in their pants.
Anyway this is joyful upbeat electronic pop including compositions by pop journeyman Midge Ure of Ultravox fame (and er Slick and the a Rich Kids ...hmm, I'm over it).
This is really dead dead good . Put aside your pop idol Britain's got no talent dishwater. This lot proved it did / does indeed have or had such talent! Case in point - their new album 'Hearts and Knives' (available in all good Amazon stores) contains more talent than all the one directionless bands put together.
