Where is the Blue Ray,
This review is from: Agatha Christie's Marple - Series 6 [DVD] (DVD)
What is the point of ITV and the BBC making these programs in HD when they are not released on Blue Ray here in the UK,however you can buy them in Europe and the USA, programs like Foyle's War, Midsomer Murders, Lewis, Poirot and so on especially as they are made and filmed in the UK, it is just ridiculous.
I have purchased this on DVD and the stories are good apart from the last one is a bit weak, however I purchased a Spanish version of Miss Marple from Spain series 5 and the picture and sound are excellent quality and the detail is amazing. It is easy to change the sound from Spanish to English and the sound is the original actors speaking English.
The only downside is you wait about 2 to 3 weeks for it to be delivered, however the sound and picture quality is well worth the wait. I have also just ordered Poirot box set on Blue Ray from Spain through a UK dealer and will review that once I have received it.

Kevin Tomlin says:
I have the Poirot blu rays they are excellent, especially the older series where a lot of the grain is removed and the images are much clearer than DVD. The only downside is that the early episodes in 4.3 aspect ratio cannot be changed on your TV but this is a small price to pay.
