I miss my caterpillars!,
This review is from: Simply Gorgeous - Set Of 4 Eyebrow Eye Brow Shaping Stencils (Misc.)
In 1994, I had the bushiest brows in the land. Back then it was quite fashionable to have a well groomed pair of mating caterpillars on your spam and I often got compliments about my hairly fur slugs. They resembled Tom Selleck's chest and that was quite attractive to the opposite sex. As time went on, fashions changed. string vests went out, peddle pushers came in, michael jackson changed race, Jimmy Saville got caught for loving children too much and the Catholic church was found innocent of touching choir boys where it smells funny. During this time, thinner, smaller, sleeker and often self-drawn eyebrows became the craze. I am a complete sucker for stupid fads so decided to get the shears out and chop my forehead forests down to size. Once I trimmed the chunky trunk bristles, all i was left with was a stumpy foundation of roots making my brow area resemble fred flintstone's facial hair area only with alopecia. This was quite a frightening look as you can imagine so action was required. I used a combination of limestone powder and veet to get rid of the roots and was left with a couple of shiny runways where the browbeasts once inhabited. I then had to obviously create new eyebrows for myself, knowing that my originals would never return. The problem was, I was never good at art and I do not have the steadiest of hands so the first few times I used a Black sharpie to draw my brows they came out like 2 cats tails, uneven and badly balanced. Thats when I discovered these templates! These are truly great. The best thing about them is I can use them at different angles if I have a day where I want my expression to be that of 'Surprise' or I can alter the angle to make me scowl. Other looks achievable are 'confused', 'delighted', 'woe-some' and 'loving'.
Although I miss my mating caterpillars, I highly recommend these if, like me, you have no hair left to groom.
