Definitely not as good as Cherub,
This review is from: Henderson`s Boys: The Escape (Paperback)
I am a fan of the cherub series and have grown up with them since the recruit was published 5 years ago. However, i didn't think much of The Escape. Muchamore seems to use very simple lanquage and sentences which are a bit patronising at times. The plot, compared to the cherub series, is quite simple and not much seems to go on! I got to the end of the book thinking 'was that it?' it finished without much having happened, I do appreciate though that it must be hard to think of that many plots for the same type of story.
I'm looking forward to the release of Brigands MC

No, you must be confused if you think the language in The Escape is simpler than CHERUB!!! And I can't think of any patronising language in the book. I think the plot is BETTER in the Escape than in most CHERUB books as well. It is very action packed so I have no idea how you thought 'was that it?' at the end. We do agree on one thing though - we're both looking forward to Brigands M.C!
