This review is from: The Story of Childhood: Growing Up in Modern Britain (Paperback)
I found this rather boring which I was required to use for a uni assignment. Reading about every single detail of the child and having to listen to them apply more psychological theories and stuff was just so repetitive, I mean I've read text books that are more interesting about theories but this just wasn't to me personally and to others doing my course. I do not think the writer has a good way of capturing the readers attention. I wish I didn't have to buy this book but like I said, it was required.
