1.0 out of 5 stars defective frother, 17 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Aerolatte Black Milk Frother (Kitchen & Home)
I loved this when I first got it.Within a few day it began to malfunction. I'd have to tap it to get it to start. I thought it was the battery. I replaced the battery and it was ok for awhile which tricked me into thinking it was the battery. Then it started again and now it doesn't work. I went out of town for few days and when I got back it stopped working completely so I decided to return it for a new one. Turns out my Return time was limited to 30 days and I apparently have no choice but to toss it in the bin. Seems like the company should offer a bit more time than 30 days . My fault. I should have sent it straight back. But it worked perfectly some of the time. I'm very disappointed with the entire thing. Not a huge amount of money but it's the principle of the thing.

I'm a designer/ manufacturer and retail my own products. I want my customers to be happy. I had a woman return a high end handbag because after 10 years of every day use the lining was coming undone. I didn't make that style anymore but instructed my staff to let her have something of equal value. Everyone in the shop was gobsmacked but they all went home and told their friends that I stand behind my products. And I gained a new lot of of devoted customers. Customer satisfaction is one of the reasons I have a world wide following.

That example is a bit extreme but 35 days after receiving this frother I have no recourse but to throw it away. Not good!

If it stops working - and you tap it - and it begins to work again that is symptomatic of a bad connection. The solution is to find the bad connection and make it good. The battery connections would be the first place to look. Then the switch and then the motor - that's all there is.
