1.0 out of 5 stars Slow, boring & predictible, 28 Mar. 2009
By
This review is from: Brokeback Mountain [DVD] [2005] (DVD)
Still cannot get over the boredom that this movie inspired me. Why all the fuss I'm asking you??? So ok, 2 guys fall in love, allegedly cowboys, which is probably rather breathtaking news in the land of the Yanks. Point taken. Then, going through the usual traumas of life and well, life in gen eral, one of them dies. Fine. You go through the usual feelings of loss, bitterness, unfulfilled love and so on when one of the characters die. Ok... then what??? I'm asking you!!! What got the movie industry so excited about such a dull movie??? God knows...

Go back to your John Woo movies you low IQ monkey, poorly evolved moron.

Please tell us what your favourite movies are. I am in dire need of a laugh.

Im with the reviewer of this film. I can see why there was such a big deal over the film when it was released, because it was about homosexuality- the first major film from Hollywood. But no-one seems to have taken into consideration the actual story, or the filmmaking. The cinematography was beautiful and the got two wonderful actors. But the film itself was limp. For a slow telling story, it sped through time periods an awful lot and never got into the depth of the situation.

I think perhaps you should stick to Carry On movies. They are simple to understand and I am sure would satisfy the pea brain capacity you have LOL
