Domestic Violence Book,
This review is from: Domestic Violence and Children: A Handbook for Schools and Early Years Settings (Paperback)I am an Educational Psychologist working in the UK and found this book a really easy to use manual that I have since recommended to many schools. I read the book from cover to cover in just a couple of hours and would say that it gives the reader a good overview of attachment theory and the related evidence base. It is not over complicated by the use of complicated medical or psychological terms and so is accessible to all staff working within Early Years and School settings. I particularly liked the practical suggestions which are presented in their own chapters, making reference to these quick and easy. Overall, a very good and reasonably priced resource.
